CAD in Interior Design: The students in Ms. Melia Cardwell's Interior Design II class at Dalton McMichael High are gaining valuable experience in computer aided design with excellent results. The students rendered interior and exterior views of thier designs in a computer aided design program. The students worked in teams to design a plans for a local business. Students also utilized the CAD program to design their dream homes. The ability to model ideas within a CAD program is a skill crucial to success in engineering, architecture, graphic design, landscape design, and product desing as well as interior design. Thanks to Emily, Corey, Dillon, Katelyn and Brianna for sharing their designs. Click here for a few images of their plans: DMHS Interior CAD Drawings
